Biography: Dan Klock is a Program Specialist with the U.S. Department of Education’s Policy Liaison and Implementation staff focusing primarily on Student Eligibility and Institutional Eligibility issues. After more than 24 years as a Financial Aid Administrator in the public, private, and proprietary education sectors, Dan began his work at Federal Student Aid (FSA) in March of 1999 where he has served continuously. Prior to federal service, Dan had served as the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Finance Committee Chairman, on NASFAA’s Reauthorization Task Force, as well as on the Board of Directors. He has also served the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) on its Federal Legislative Relations Committee and its Board of Directors, and served as the Regional President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (RMASFAA), and state president of the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) and the Wyoming Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WyASFAA).
