Biography: Deidra is a graduate of the University of North Alabama and has been in Financial Aid for 4 years. After serving in various roles in the office she has found a passion for helping graduate and professional students navigate the financial aid process. Most recently, Deidra volunteered to serve on NASFAA's Graduate and Professional Issues Caucus for 2014. As a part of this caucus she visited congressional offices in Washington DC to increase awareness to lawmakers of how the needs of graduate and professional students differ from traditional undergraduate student. Serving as the contact for over 1,500 Lipscomb University students she counsels a variety of people in the fields of arts and sciences, education, business, engineering, theology and pharmacy. Deidra and her husband Steve have 4 children ages 16-23.
