Biography: Jim Trimboli has been employed in the financial aid industry for the past sixteen years, eleven of which he has been director of financial aid at Niagara County Community College located in Sanborn, New York. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Bryant &Stratton Business College, a Bachelors Degree in Business Resource Development from Medaille College, and a Masters Degree in Applied Economics from Buffalo State College. He is also SUNY’s newest published author as cited by his work in his new 2015 book “ A Parent’s Survival Guide to College and Financial Aid”. He has also presented at national and regional conferences. Jim is a member of “SUNY’s Statewide Default Prevention Taskforce” and Financial Literacy Sub-Committee” which was responsible for statewide procurement that provided statewide financial literacy for students and parents. He also served as the past chair of SUNY’s Shared Services-loan Verification Sub-Committee and is a regular featured speaker on Financial Wellness-Financial Literacy Topics for incoming NCCC Students and parents, local high schools, civic organizations, and other community sponsored events.
