Biography: Scott Prince is an Institutional Improvement Specialist with the New York/Boston School Participation Division of Federal Student Aid at the U.S. Department of Education. He has over 24 years of experience in the higher education financing industry and, in his current role, provides compliance assistance and training to new and existing Title IV institutions. He has a broad background in financial aid administration, college savings and student loan programs, and has provided technical assistance to numerous public, private and proprietary institutions. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Education, Mr. Prince held senior positions at The Educational Resources Institute (TERI) and the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA). He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Bradford College and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University. Originally from Maine and now residing in Boston, MA, he began his career as a Federal Work-Study student working in the financial aid office at Bradford College as a first-time, first-generation undergraduate student.
