Biographical Sketch: Karen Hauser has been in student financial aid for over 20 years the past 15 years at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She is one of the associate directors and her main responsibilities is compliance oversight and the Student Employment division. Karen is the President of TASFAA for the 2016-2017 year. She is married and has four children. Her son, the oldest, is married. Daughter #1 is a whale trainer at Sea World, daughters #2 and #3 just graduated from college in June of this year. In her spare time she likes to read, garden, and travel to see her kids.
