Biographical Sketch: Cynthia Battle is the Program Manager for the Servicing Delivery Area in the Direct Loan Division at Federal Student Aid. Her area provides guidance to assist in the formulation of operational policy and procedure related to all grant and loan programs in the loans division. Her team also provides assistance and oversight into the development of school plans to improve delinquency management. Cynthia has been with the department for 22 years in various roles, but the better part of her career has been working in Direct Loan Servicing.
