Biographical Sketch: Tamy joined the Federal Student Aid team as a Program Specialist in the Policy, Liaison and Implementation Division in 2013 working directly with Jeff Baker's team.
She has over 25 years of experience working in the Federal Student Aid industry. She began her career working at a private college in Tennessee in 1986 as a work study student and was hired to work full-time in the Financial Aid Office upon her graduation in 1990. After moving to South Carolina in 1996, she began working at the South Carolina Student Loan Corporation and later transitioned to the University of South Carolina where she was Senior Assistant Director of Processing. Prior to coming to Federal Student Aid, she worked for one of the largest Federal student loan guaranty agencies.
She has a Master of Science in Management from Southern Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Lee University.
