Biographical Sketch: Barb Miller began her career (ages ago) in Admissions. After 10 years of recruiting students, coaching volleyball and basketball, and teaching at Essex Community College (now CCBC), she ‘saw the light’ and made the transition to financial aid. Currently, Barb is the AVP of Financial Aid at Stevenson University in Maryland. She has been active in local, regional, and national financial aid associations. Among her positions, Barb has served as President of EASFAA , a Regional Rep for NASFAA Board of Directors, and a former member of the NASFAA Financial Advisory Committee. She also indicates she was extremely proud to be a contributing author to the first ever NASFAA book, ‘You’re the Director: A Guide to Leadership in Student Financial Aid.’
