See how Missouri University of Science and Technology used a different approach to a work-study program designed to increase retention rates of low-income students at a rate greater than the campus average. Students selected for this program were paired with 'Champion' departments across campus and were given requirements to accomplish across campus, including meetings and quarterly evaluations with their supervisor, in order to increase their success on campus as well as create a sense of belonging to the university.
