Biographical Sketch: Julie Fresne is the Director of Student Financial Services for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Julie has over 20 years medical student loan and education debt management experience including serving as the Director of Student Financial Planning at the Georgetown School of Medicine. Her experience includes working with medical student loans on both the lender and loan servicer sides.
In her position at the AAMC, Ms. Fresne works closely with the medical school community, most notably financial aid officers and graduate medical education staff, on issues surrounding education debt management for both medical students and residents. She routinely speaks on debt management and loan repayment at medical schools and teaching hospitals across the country.
Ms. Fresne holds an M.A. in Social and Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BS in Social and Behavioral Science from the University of Utah.
