Biographical Sketch: Krissy began working in financial aid in 2000 at Richmond University in London, England, as a student employee before moving to Montreal a year later. In 2005, she found her way back to the US and began working in the financial aid office at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she has been ever since.
Krissy is now the Assistant Director for Special Programs in the Office of Financial Aid and is an adjunct lecturer in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan teaching a financial savvy course for undergraduate students that she developed. She was named the 2016 Financial Educator of the Year by CashCourse.
She is passionate about professional development, training and supporting her peers. She has been involved for over a decade in her state and regional associations and was the 2016-2017 President of the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association.
