Biographical Sketch: Stephanie Nevill is the associate project director at RTI International for the National Center for Education Statistic's (NCES) DataLab. Her expertise in data management, analysis and dissemination spans over 15 years and began with the development of several large scale national education surveys. This experience prepared her well for her role on DataLab, which is NCES's primary mechanism for disseminating over 30 nationally collected survey datasets to the public. DataLab is a suite of three online data analysis tools: QuickStats, Powerstats, and TrendStats. These tools provide an intuitive and interactive workspace that allows users to create their own analyses with education-related data. Ms. Nevill also manages the NCES Help Desk. Users can submit questions about NCES related topics. The Help Desk tracks user requests and provides valuable input to NCES on topics that interest the public. As part of her dissemination work, Ms. Nevill has authored several research papers focusing on postsecondary education.
