Biographical Sketch: Anthony Jones serves as Director of Student Financial Aid at Appalachian State University. He has been in the financial aid profession since 1991. In addition to his work as a financial aid administrator, Anthony previously worked in training and regulatory assistance at NASFAA, as a policy analyst in the Office of Postsecondary Education at the U.S. Department of Education, and as Director of Policy Research for the Advisory Committee On Student Financial Assistance. Prior to his current position in Financial Aid at Appalachian State, Anthony was a member of the graduate faculty at the institution. Anthony also currently serves as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Student Financial Aid.
