Biographical Sketch: Marie Johnson is the Director of Student Financial Services at the University of Vermont. She graduated from UVM with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Public Administration. She has worked in higher education finance for twenty five years, gaining extensive experience in student aid and receivables. Marie has been very active in service through her professional associations. She has served as Secretary for the Vermont Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She has served on various Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (EASFAA) Committees and currently serves as the EASFAA Membership Chair, as a member of the EASFAA Executive Council and the 2017 EASFAA Conference Committee. Marie is completing her fourth and final year on the Coalition of State University Aid Administrators (COSUAA) Steering Committee in 2017. She is currently serving on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) 2017 Conference Task Force.
