The presentation will cover the value of educating consumers about their personal credit profiles. Specifically, within higher education financing, a cosigner’s credit history and credit score are key factors that help determine whether a loan is approved and what interest rate is assigned. We will also discuss how the financial aid community can help students as they build their credit history through college and beyond. Tips, tools and resources will be provided to all attendees.
