Biographical Sketch: Joe Donlay is the Associate Director for Operations at Colorado State University and was the 2015-16 RMASFAA President. A Kansas native, Joe previously served as Assistant Director for Systems at Wichita State University and began his career working as a Financial Aid Counselor for Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. Joe has enjoyed being very active within our professional associations, having served in numerous leadership capacities for CAFAA (Colorado), KASFAA (Kansas), and RMASFAA. Joe is a past regional delegate to the NASFAA Board of Directors, chaired the 2012 NASFAA Technology Initiatives Committee, is a member of the NASFAA Financial Affairs Committee, and is currently chairing NASFAA’s National Advocacy Network Task Force. In 2009, Joe was given RMASFAA’s Oscar R. “Jack” Hendrix Award and received CAFAA’s Postsecondary Professional of the Year Award in 2014. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing degree from Fort Hays State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southwestern College. On the rare occasion that he gets free time, Joe enjoys traveling to visit friends and family and is particularly fond of trying new Colorado craft beer!
