Biographical Sketch:
Amanda received her BA, cum laude, from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and her law degree, cum laude, from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in Georgia. She practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, for a number of years before transitioning to Indiana and ultimately joining Purdue. During that time, she primarily advised clients on real estate finance and development, secured lending, and corporate matters. She advises University representatives on a broad range of issues, including research contracting, international contracting, collections, corporate, and intellectual property matters. She also advises on structuring of affiliated entities and serves as special counsel from time to time to Purdue International, Inc., and Purdue Research Foundation.
