Biographical Sketch: Mike Johnson is the Director of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. He has worked in financial aid and related roles in Oregon and Washington since 1987. He served as OASFAA President in 1997-98 and WASFAA President in 2016-17. He has helped with a variety of state and regional financial aid training and professional development activities, including OASFAA’s FA 101/201, and WASFAA’s Sister Dale Brown Summer Institute and Jerry R. Sims Management & Leadership Institute. He currently co-chairs WASFAA’s Leadership Task Force, and serves as a Regional Representative on the NASFAA Board of Directors.
