Biographical Sketch: Shar-day Campbell is an award-winning communicator and certified social media expert whose gift for storytelling led her to a career in communications, television and public affairs. Recently, she joined Houston Community College (HCC) as the financial aid department’s first communications and social media coordinator. Her background prior to HCC includes work with marketing firms, non-profits, elected officials, energy companies, and national television shows. Campbell’s work and dedication to service have been recognized by several elected officials, national professional communications organizations, YMCA of Houston and the HESP Union. Shar-day Campbell received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications.
