Biographical Sketch:
Michael is an Institutional Improvement Specialist with the U.S. Department of Education. His primary function is to work directly with those schools that are either new to the world of Title IV, or that have asked for Title IV technical and/or compliance assistance. He has been with the Department since October 2007. Beginning his Financial Aid career as a work study student at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1990, he has also served as Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, and as Financial Aid Director at Iverson Institution of Court Reporting in Arlington, TX and at Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX. Michael married his high school sweetheart in 1974, has three children and nine grandchildren.
