Biographical Sketch: Dean serves as an ambassador and advocate for financial aid practitioners and solutions that improve student outcomes. Engagement and partnership with the Higher Ed community to implement financial aid strategies and plans are common themes of his daily work. Prior to joining the College Board in 2014, Dean served as Director of Financial Aid at Emory University where he developed access and affordability initiatives and managed a comprehensive aid program. His professional career in financial aid includes decades of college-side experience in financial aid from various sectors.
