Biographical Sketch: Sedrick Brinson graduated from Florida International University and received his Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communication. He received his Associates of Science in Business Administration from Lake-Sumter State College, in Leesburg Florida. He is currently employed at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida as the Financial Aid Specialist in the Financial Aid Department. In August of 2004, Sedrick started his career in Financial Aid as a work-study student at Lake-Sumter State College, he was then promoted to Program Specialist of Financial Aid followed by Senior Program Specialist of Financial Aid and upon ending his tenure at Lake-Sumter State College, he was the Coordinator of Financial Aid Scholarships.
Sedrick relocated to Valencia College in August 2012 as the Financial Aid Specialist for the Financial Aid Services District office. In which, he currently oversee the Default Prevention Program and serve as the Default Prevention Advisory Committee Chair. Sedrick’s motto is "At Valencia College, we not only strive for success for our students in the classroom, but also in their future endeavors. By creating financial awareness, our goal is that our students leave with a sense of financial stability." He was also the program chair for the Valencia College West Campus Brother 2 Brothers Mentoring Program.
Sedrick is married and has a son and daughter named, Josiah & Ivoryelle. His hobbies consist of traveling and spending time with his family.
