Biographical Sketch: Thalassa Naylor has worked in the field of financial aid for several decades, starting as a work study peer counselor in the financial aid office at the University of Colorado. She has worked as a financial aid counselor and Associate Director at schools in Los Angeles for 12 years, and then transitioned to the student lending industry. She is currently a Director of Business Development for Sallie Mae. During her career she has supported CASFAA, WASFAA and other associations chairing committees, presenting and as a member on executive councils. She is currently supporting WASFAA on the training committee and is the current Training Chair for CASFAA. Thalassa holds a BA from the University of Colorado and an MBA from California State University Northridge.
