Biographical Sketch: Anthony Jones currently serves as Director of Student Financial Aid at the University of Georgia (UGA). He previously worked as a policy analyst at the U.S. Department of Education for the federal financial aid programs, as well as the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance where he was Director of Policy Research and authored the 2011 Higher Education Regulations Study. Anthony has previously provided training and regulatory assistance at NASFAA, and has worked in financial aid administration at other colleges and universities in addition to UGA. Anthony earned his bachelor's degree from UNC-Greensboro, his master's degree from Tusculum College, and his PhD from the University of Georgia. Anthony continues to serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Student Financial Aid.
