Biographical Sketch: Cynthia Gonzalez is the Senior Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Northwestern University- Feinberg School of Medicine. Cynthia has over has over 20 years of banking and financial aid experience. Her career in banking includes time at US Bank where she was the Regional Manager for the Student Loan Division. She has been with Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine since 2008. Cynthia understands that money can be a stressor for students. Her goal is to teach the students to be proactive about their finances and ultimately minimize those financial stressors. She implemented a Financial Wellness program called Life $upport to help achieve this goal.
Cynthia has served as the Chair of her state committee for Grad/Professional Issues and has most recently been appointed as the AAMC COSFA Central Region Committee Representative.
