Biographical Sketch:
Lomar Osborne is a LEDA Scholar from Cohort 4 and is the Director of College Counseling at KIPP ENC Public Schools in Gaston, North Carolina. Lomar is a first-generation college graduate from a rural community in one of the ten poorest counties in North Carolina. Lomar received his Bachelor's degree in Religion with minors in Entrepreneurship and Politics from Wake Forest University in 2013. Lomar's experience as a first generation independent student of an addicted caregiver has informed his career choice as a college counselor, volunteerism as a Guardian ad Litem, and his choice to be a foster parent.
