Biographical Sketch: Lottia Windham is the Senior Student Financial Operations Specialist and Director of the Financial Literacy Program at Southern Methodist University (“SMU”) located in Dallas, TX. She is also the Financial Wellness Chair for Coalition of Higher Education Assistance Organizations (COHEAO). Lottia has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania and currently studying for her Masters and Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Development and Leadership with Liberty University. Lottia has over 15 years of experience in higher education and has worked in both financial aid and students accounts.
In her current role Lottia has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in assisting current and future college bound students with their financial needs. She has a passion for helping students overcome challenges and become financially fit. This passion caused her to start a Non-Profit in 2017, Relay: Heroes Today Leaders Tomorrow to aid in her personal mission assisting students in college readiness.
