Biographical Sketch: Melissa Smurdon has served as Director of Financial Aid at Butler University since 2010 after filling several other FA positions during her 25 year tenure at Butler. She was the functional lead for the implementation of PeopleSoft Financial Aid Module and served three years on the Financial Aid Advisory Group for the Higher Education Users Group (HEUG). She currently leads the implementation of Oracle Student Financial Planning.
