Biographical Sketch:
Colleen Campbell (they/them, she/her) is a program manager in the Next Gen Program Office at the U.S. Department of Education, office of Federal Student Aid (FSA). Campbell came to FSA to direct the strategic communications for the Next Gen initiative and after a detail in the Policy, Implementation and Oversight directorate came back to Next Gen to run the Unified Servicing and Data Solution (USDS), which will replace the legacy loan servicing contracts and repayment environment. Campbell began their career as a financial aid administrator, an experience that still informs their work today. Prior to joining FSA, Campbell focused on policy development and research focused on student loan borrowing, repayment, and servicing at a variety of DC-based organizations. Campbell holds a Master of Public Policy and Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Michigan.
