Biographical Sketch: Crystal DeLong is a Vice President, Regional Manager at Citizens. She began her career in financial aid at Fort Hays State University as a work study student back in 2001! After 18 years in aid offices in KS and MO she jumped to the “other side” to continue serving her passion in Higher Ed. Crystal has served in a variety of roles in both state and regional financial aid associations during her 21 years in the industry and doesn’t plan on stopping!
Crystal is a sports fan, a self-proclaimed spreadsheet geek and a social butterfly! She is always on the go and up for the next adventure. Lately, every day is an adventure as Crystal and her husband spend their free time chasing their 2 yr old son Tate around. He’s recently taken the nickname of “Tate the Tornado” as his main goal in life is to destroy things! If you have any advice on how to keep a toddler still, she is all ears!!!
