Biographical Sketch: Richmond Reyes is a Digital Accessibility Specialist at the University of North Texas (UNT). Reyes works closely with faculty and instructional designers on creating forward-thinking and user friendly courses for all modalities of learning through the adoption of universal design best practices. Previously he worked at Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX as the Coordinator for Compliance and Professional Development. In this role, Reyes focused on state authorization and led a cross-functional team which created the system for institutional compliance of the 2019 Student Assistance General Provisions federal regulations. He is an active member of the WCET/State Authorization Network and has contributed research to several projects including the Secretary of State compliance guide. Richmond earned his MBA and his bachelor's degrees in business from the University of California, Riverside.
