Biographical Sketch:
Arnika Frazier-Jackson is the Director for UNCF’s Student Professional Develop Programs. She leads the Panda Cares Scholars Program which develops processes and systems to support the successful implementation of the suite of programs to prepare students for professional development. While managing programming for the now 750 student population under the Panda Cares umbrella she also serves the team in strategic planning of new programs and learning initiatives for UNCF’s internship talent pool. A champion for young professionals in the organization Arnika also serves as a committee member of Young Professionals affinity group working to cultivate a new generation of donors for UNCF while providing development for leadership training for her colleagues. She has more than 17 years of experience in corporate marketing and professional development. Ten of those years serving UNCF leading initiatives with the Gates Millennium Scholars Program and the UNCF Empower Tour respectively. Arnika has always work to find innovative ways to integrate the service of the client’s needs and communities that they serve. The Panda Cares Scholar Program creation is one of the highlights of her career. Prior to joining UNCF Arnika was a Business Analyst for BlueCross BlueShield of Florida. As the Business Analyst for new product development, she led the research efforts in the creation of the Over65 products to engage the Baby Boomer population to hit the 2011 age shift in the country. She led her team in the project development of the traveling satellite office for seniors which was adopted for other marketing effort in the company. In addition to the external facing initiatives Arnika also created the Senior Sensitivity Training for the company helping to better serve the aging population of the company’s consumer base. Arnika received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the highest of seven hills Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and her Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing and Management Communication from The Florida State University.
