Biographical Sketch: Shannon Venezia is the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor at Lone Star College, a position she has held since December 2021. Prior to Lone Star College, she worked at Texas Tech University, the University of Connecticut, and Washington State Community College. She holds a Ph.D. from Ohio University where her dissertation focused on the relationship between financial aid and graduation rates for rural community college students. She is a passionate student advocate and works tirelessly to expand financial aid opportunities for those who need it most.
