Ali Caccavella

Biography: Ali Caccavella serves Director of Training and Partnerships and a central leader of the Training and Technical Assistance program at uAspire. She supports the development and implementation of external training, and works primarily with the High Impact Partnerships through which uAspire delivers customized training and support to front-line staff at schools and community-based organizations nationwide. Before joining uAspire, Ali served as the Associate Director for College Retention and Success at Philadelphia Futures. In her role, she managed a caseload of over 80 students across various college campuses with intensive supports to meet the goal of college completion. Ali developed relationships with key personnel on campuses to mobilize resources for students’ success, and created curriculum and programmatic interventions to support students’ college persistence and career development. Prior to this, Ali worked for 7 years with Mastery Charter Schools where she created, launched and directed an internship program required for all students and across growing numbers of schools. At Mastery, she also served as Assistant Director for Social Emotional Learning where she developed and scaled SEL programming across curriculum, faculty& staff training, and school culture norms. Ali earned both a BA in Urban Studies and an MS Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
