A student must be a U.S. citizen/national or eligible noncitizen to receive federal student aid. This session will describe how students’ FAFSA information is matched with other federal agencies to determine U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen status. We also will describe citizenship or immigration documents that may need to be collected.
