Demographic shifts, changing expectations, uncertain tuition revenue, and an unpredictable regulatory environment are driving institutions to re-imagine the role of financial aid, how its services are delivered to students, and explore the links between financial aid and student success. These three institutions are taking bold steps to prepare for the future. They will discuss the potential for leveraging emerging technology to support financial aid, finding that if the administrative burden of financial aid is substantially reduced, financial aid offices can take on strategic initiatives to improve financial literacy, address highly vulnerable student sub-populations and positively affect broader student outcomes.
