Students—and their parents—are using social media to connect with friends, family, campuses, businesses, and even the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA). With such an array of social media choices, you want to make sure you understand what networks students use, how each network works, and what opportunities and challenges social media presents for the financial aid office. After a review of the social media landscape, panelists representing aid offices, FSA, and a servicer will discuss how they’ve integrated social media into their communication strategies.
