Data are everywhere across institutions of higher education, and access to analytical tools and reporting software means that a wide array of higher education employees, including financial aid professionals, can be actively involved in converting data into decision-support information. This presentation provides specific examples of opportunities for financial aid professionals to partner with others for more effective use of data and information for decision-making to ensure student and institutional success, including: supporting students as decision makers; embracing your role as data producers, data consumers, and decision makers; and building relationships with institutional research and other data producers.
