In February 2019, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) released a new "Financing Sheet" to replace the current "Shopping Sheet." NASFAA worked with consulting agency ASA Research, LLC to conduct consumer testing on the new document via a series of focus groups targeted at current and prospective college students and their parents. Students were asked to share their opinions on the new document and answer questions that would gauge their ability to understand the information presented on both. During this session NASFAA will present the findings as well as provide commentary from a current financial aid administrator.
