As more leaders within the financial aid industry approach retirement, many young professionals are wondering what they need to do to prepare for a bigger role — and if they're ready to take the leap. Bringing experience at proprietary institutions, large publics, and nonprofit organizations, the career path of the presenters matches that of many financial aid administrators. Their advancement has taught them valuable lessons about preparing for change, adapting quickly, handling imposter syndrome, and turning challenges into office wins. The session will be both real and light-hearted, sharing honestly the joys and struggles that come from moving into the director's chair.
Moderator:
Mrs. Amanda L Randolph (Cornell University)
