Students and their families deserve clear and accurate consumer information to make informed decisions about higher education. Although financial aid professionals universally agree on this principle, complying with the ever-growing list of consumer information requirements is a challenging feat. This challenge is compounded by the fact that compliance with many of the requirements must involve multiple parties on campus. This session will identify common audit and program review findings related to consumer information, provide some ideas to gain campus-wide participation with complying with the requirements, and provide some easily implementable ideas to maintain compliance.
