This session will review how bias impacts students who apply for scholarships, the bias within the FAFSA, and examples from the field. You will find that the students who are impacted most directly are frequently the same students. We will then discuss what you can do to minimize the impacts after you become aware of them. This can be further adapted to your campus or organization with a sample toolkit.
